Chronic coughs are one of the world’s most uncomfortable, painful and unpleasant experiences. Aside from the fact that your breathing is impaired, you cannot go throughout the night without waking up several times.
As you get older, coughs are not as frequent, as children with fragile immune systems are most exposed to them.

Regardless, it is not our mission to go after the pharmaceutical industry, but we can teach you how you can prevent coughs at home more easily. Read on.
Ginger Wrap Recipe
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger or ginger powder
- raw honey
- olive oil
- adhesive tape
First thing’s first- mix the honey and flour. Next, add olive oil accompanied by the ginger. Combine well. Place the mixture on a napkin and cover and seal with a gauze.
In the end, place on bare chest and secure with adhesive tape.
If this is for one of your children, hold the wrap on for 3 hours before going to sleep. As for adults, they can go throughout the night with it. Ginger activates the endocrine system, which means more sweating.
Although ginger is not harmful for anyone, kids should be treated cautiously with it since they could have a sensitive skin.
Rachel Lim’s Experience
Rachel is a mother whose sun was in need of this treatment so she did it and it was effective. In her case, she decided to use tin foil instead of a gauze. Plus, she added coconut oil instead of olive oil.
As she explained, her child wore the patch at night, 2-3 hours before bed. What’s even more amazing, the remedy worked in the first 4 hours!
What a powerhouse!
